Roberta Fish is an award-winning author, sought after speaker, and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

As a Professor of Religion at Advent Health University (formerly Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences) for fourteen years, she created, researched, and taught an undergraduate class called Women of the Bible. Teaching this class inspired her current book project, Men Called them Crazy, Jesus Called them Daughter: How Jesus Loved and Empowered the Gospel Women which will be published soon.
As an LCSW, she is currently the owner and clinician of Front Porch Counseling, a private practice where she sees 20-24 clients per week. Roberta has spent over 25 years providing a space for healing and growing.

In 2016, she authored a group bible study book and accompanying leader’s manual entitled The Forgiveness Formula: It’s Not as Easy as 1+1. The contracted book was published by Advent Source, a ministry resource company

She co-created and co-leads Hope for Hurting Hearts Retreat, a weekend retreat for women survivors of sexual abuse as children. This ministry inspired her, in 2013, to publish the book Ministering Hope to the Hurting Heart: A Guide for Christians (Spanish version in 2015). The book overviews the healing process of all types of abuse, using the metaphor of a wound. It prepares Christians to support survivors of abuse as they recover.
